Outreach is the heart of Ignition633’s mission in Nigeria. It’s where faith meets action — bringing the love of Jesus into streets, homes, and communities in practical, life-changing ways. Whether cleaning gutters, mentoring young men through football, or sitting beside widows in their grief, we believe every act of service is an opportunity to reflect the goodness and love of Christ.
Our ministry extends directly from the church into homes. Aside from ministering to those living in the IDP camps, (see more) our team visit widows, the grieving, the sick, and families from our local community who are in need, offering counseling, prayer, and tangible support. Through presence, compassion, and the truth of the Gospel, we bring encouragement to those who feel forgotten, and remind them they are seen and loved by the Father.
Each week, our outreach team goes into the streets to serve through physical labor and personal connection. We clean out gutters, remove trash, fill potholes, and restore public spaces. Beyond the work, we use this time to build relationships and share God’s love, often inviting community members to join us in the effort.
Firebrands is more than a football (soccer) program — it’s a discipleship opportunity. Young boys come to learn teamwork, discipline, and skills on the field. Once a month we gather the team to share the Word of God and a message of encouragement for these young men. Many come from troubled or Muslim backgrounds, and simply by showing love and consistency, we’ve seen lives transformed and some give their hearts to Christ.
